The Arkansas State Police have stated that two people were killed in an early morning accident, a bus driver and a child.
The collision occurred at 5:53 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, on Hwy 167 in Batesville.
The preliminary fatal crash report states that Cody L. Conboy , age 20 of Greenbrier was northbound when his 2016 GMC Sierra drove into the southbound lane, striking a 2019 Chevrolet Express van driven by Tammy J. Gardner age 55 of Hardy.
Gardner and an unidentified child on the van were killed in the accident.
Conboy and an additional child passenger in the van suffered injuries. The injured child was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
