Sharp County authorities have arrested Thomas Kramer, age 31 on June 27 after violating an order of protection and attempted to contact two of his alleged victims.

On June 26, authorities were contacted by a victim who stated her ex-husband, identified as Thomas Kramer of Batesville, was violating the order of protection following incidents that occurred in Lonoke County.

The victim went to the Cave City Police Department so investigators could review text messages allegedly sent by the suspect.

Investigators also called the number from which the text messages were coming from with The suspect answering the phone.

Kramer met with Investigators and admitted to knowing he was under a ten year Order of Protection.

Despite this ruling, Kramer continued to contacting the victims.

Kramer was then placed under arrest and transported to the Sharp County Detention Center.

In January 2021 Kramer was charged in Lonoke County with distributing, viewing, or possessing matter depicting a child sexually, a class C felony and video voyeurism, a class B misdemeanor.

Independence County still has a case from 2019 open against Kramer who was charged with two counts of rape, a class Y felony.
