Authorities say a Mountain View man is being charged in the death of an Oklahoma man near Guion. 

Police arrested Lance L. Johnson, age 22, of Mountain View and charged with Negligent Homicide, Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving on a DWI suspended license.

Court documents show that Johnson admitted to investigators that he had drank a 30 pack of beer throughout the night of June 20th until about 3 a.m. on June 21st.

Investigators said that during the interview with Johnson on June 22nd he  admitted to operating the tractor when it stalled in the middle of State Highway 58.

With the tractor in gear. Johnson stated the tractor began moving and ran over the victim.

The Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary report states: a 2013 John Deere was stalled on Hwy. 58 blocking both lanes of traffic. Cody L. Killingsworth, age 22, of Checotaw, Oklahoma was standing on the left side of the vehicle when the tractor suddenly began traveling north, striking Killingsworth, exiting the highway and coming to a stop in a wooded area. 

Johnson was placed on a $25,000 Bond.
