Arkansas State Police report a Paragould woman died Thursday evening in a two vehicle accident.
Arkansas State Police reported the accident happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. on US 49 near Greene County Road 749.
Joy Maria Lucas, age 35, was northbound when her 2011 Chrysler 200 hydroplaned and skidded across all lanes of traffic, colliding with a 2015 GMC Sierra driven by Marion Eugene Wilkerson, age 67, of Paragould.
Lucas died in the crash, Wilkerson and his passenger, Earline Johnson, age 71 of Paragould, were taken to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center with injuries. The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
