According to the affidavit, 40-year-old Brandon Gilbert of Oxford Arkansas is now charged with 2 class Y felony charges of internet stalking a child, two counts of a class B Felony internet stalking of a child, 2 counts of felony sexual indecency with a child, and two counts of felony fourth degree assault.
An investigation began in early March after investigators with the Izard County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from three juvenile males saying Gilbert had contacted them via Snapchat and cell phone texts and offered them alcoholic beverages in exchange for sexual acts from them. A total of 4 victims were interviewed from March 11 through March 18 according to the affidavit.
Gilbert’s Bond was set at $40,000.
