Around 12:30 pm today the Lawrence County Dispatch received a call reporting a mobile home being moved through Imboden that was unable to make the turn at the intersection of Hwy 63 and Hwy 115 and then was unable to back up to clear the roadway.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Imboden Fire, Arkansas State Police, Ravenden Fire and Police all assisted with the situation.
Traffic was diverted in Ravenden through Hwy 90 and at Hwy 62 in Imboden.
Firefighters were able to divert small cars and trucks around the side streets in Imboden but semi trucks were at a standstill in Imboden.
Dail’s Wrecker Service was called to the scene and specialized moving equipment was brought in to move the mobile home safely onto Hwy 63.
At 3:48pm units on scene reported Hwy 63 was back open and traffic was again flowing.
