According to the report, Craighead and five other NEA counties are in the â€œred zoneâ€ for COVID-19 cases. Those counties include Mississippi, Lawrence, Poinsett, Izard, and Baxter.
Just this week hospitals in Northeast Arkansas released a statement urging citizens to be cautious in response to the COVID-19 surge in the region.
