According to the Arkansas State Police a 2004 Dodge Neon driven by Randy Spades of Lynn was traveling northbound on US 63 just north of Sedgwick Sunday night. A 2014 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Valerie Timmons of Bono and a 2003 Ford F250 were traveling southbound on Hwy 63. The Dodge Neon driven by Randy Spades crossed over the center lane into the southbound lane and struck the Chevy Equinox head on. Then the Dodge Neon made contact with the second vehicle, the Ford F-250.
The accident occurred at 7:29 pm, Sunday, August 24,2020.
As a result of the accident Randy Spades, age 46 of Lynn was pronounced dead at the scene. A minor passenger, in the vehicle driven by Valerie Timmons has also passed away. Valerie Timmons, age 37 of Bono and one minor passenger were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.
A minor child from the 2003 Ford F-250 was also transported to an area hospital for injuries.
