Hunter Midkiff, the Piggott High School junior who suffered a heat stroke during football practice earlier this week has passed away according to family.
Hunter age 16, was taken to LeBonheur Childrenâ€™s Hospital on Monday after suffering a heat stroke during football practice. He was listed as critical, and placed into a drug-induced coma says family.
By Tuesday Hunterâ€™s condition was worsening, according to family he was experiencing levels of kidney and liver failure.
Hunterâ€™s family announced the sad news on Saturday morning that he had passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with friends and family at this time.
