On Thursday Walnut Patrol Officers were notified of a trailer being stolen from Camie Drive. Officers responded and viewed security camera footage showing a white Chevrolet pickup hooking up to the utility trailer.

Officers immediately put out a BOLO (Be On The Look Out) to all surrounding counties with the vehicle description and stolen trailer license plate.

Officers headed out Hwy 412 toward Paragould in hopes of spotting the vehicle. Shortly after the BOLO was put out an Arkansas State Trooper in Greene County spotted the suspect vehicle and trailer.

The ASP Trooper stopped the vehicle and stolen trailer on Hwy 412 just outside Paragould.

According to WRPD Chief Jordan Cooksey the suspect in the vehicle was identified as Steve Harrelson of Paragould.

Steve Harrelson was arrested and charged with Felony Theft Of Property. He is currently in the Lawrence County Detention Center.

The trailer was returned to its owner.
