Andrew Jefferson Huttig, age 37 of Pocahontas, was arrested on 28th March, 2019 by the Pocahontas Police Department. This investigation involved both the Pocahontas Police Department and the Arkansas State Police. Mr. Huttig is in custody of the following:
Rape 5-14-103 Y Felony (5 Counts)
Sexual Assault 2nd Degree 5-14-125 B Felony (3 Counts)
Incest 5-26-202 C Felony (2 Counts)
Sexual Indecency with a Child 5-14-110 D Felony (3 Counts)
A cash bond of $100,000 was been set in this matter and Mr. Huttig’s first appearance in Randolph County Circuit Court was set for 25th April, 2019. Due to the nature of the charges, the names of the victim’s will not be released.
On July 28, 2020, Huttig plead to 240 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections and an additional 120 months of suspended imposition of sentence. Huttig will have to comply with sex offender registration requirements upon his release.Â
