Larry Warren Hunt, 74 of Black Rock; passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 in the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. 

Born October 4, 1945 in Walcott; son of the late, Samuel and Gladys Burgin Hunt. Larry graduated high school from Walnut Ridge and was an outstanding athlete and #44 in football. He was united in marriage to Sharon Hunt in July 3, 1969. He owned and operated Hunts Masonry. He was a founding member and president of the Lawrence County Coon Club. He loved to hunt, fish and watch college football. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon in 2008; two brothers, Donald and David Hunt; five sisters, Loretta Doyle, Betty Montez, Treva Daley, Freda Riggs and Opal Whittaker. 

Survivors include his sister, Doris (Bob) Gerriston of Arizona; special nieces and nephews, Brande Davis of Hoxie, and Paige (Mark) Vanbrook of Walnut Ridge; Adam (Jill) Hunt of Black Rock, Steven (Jan) Doyle of Springfield, MO, Phillip (Diane) Doyle of Little Rock and Tim (Misty) Doyle of Jonesboro; several other nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be Saturday June 13, 2020 from 1 P.M. till 3 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home Chapel. 

Private burial of his cremains will take place at a later date in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Annieville.
