According to the Arkansas State Police 30 year old, Felicia D. Zuber of Jonesboro, a passenger in a 2012 Ford Fusion was killed early Wednesday when the driver lost control and skidded into the northbound lane and struck a 2007 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. Andrea Brown , 23 years old of Cash the driver of the 2012 Ford was also injured in the accident according to the Arkansas State Police report. Brown was flown to a Memphis Hospital by Survival Flight for treatment of injuries.
The accident occurred at 3:59am at US-67 near the 412 east intersection. Conditions were dry and clear according to the report. Cooks Wrecker Service was called to remove the vehicles.
The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police. Walnut Ridge Police, Walnut Ridge Fire and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies were also on scene.
