Imboden- James Ralph Jean, 84, went to meet the Lord Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.  He was born March 21, 1935 to Marvin Everett and Hettie Grace Erwin Jean in Eaton.  He owned and operated Jean’s Phillips 66 service station for fifty-three years.  James also served in the National Guard for six years and was a member of United Methodist Church in Imboden. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Depriest Jean of 49 years; his parents; and one infant daughter, Barbara Allen Jean.

He is survived by sisters, Judy Hardesty (Lynn) of Fort Denaud, Florida, Joyce Sears (Glynn) of Alva, Florida, and Mary Bigelow of Fort Myers, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Imboden United Methodist Church with the funeral following immediately at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery in Imboden under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
