Thomas “Tommy” Scott Fling, 19, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020. 

He was born February 7, 2001 in Jonesboro. He was a student at Highland High School, a member of the ROTC and a member of the Hardy Fire Department. Tommy had been a junior Firefighter at Bono Fire Department. He loved to swim and to take up for the underdog. He was of the Baptist faith. He will be remembered as a loving and caring young man. 

He is survived by his mother, Casandra Fling of Bono; his father, Scotty Killian of Greers Ferry; two brothers, Joshua Fling and Jeremy Fling of Bono; two sisters, Elizabeth Beck of Bono and Katlyn Arnold of Jonesboro; grandparents, Wanda and Thomas Fling of Jonesboro; his girlfriend, Brianna Nichole Russell of Bono; and his other moms, Tonya Cruz and Mindy Fling and a host of other family and friends. 

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. 

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Trent Edwards and friends officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Fire Department Honors. 

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Thomas C. Fling, Matthew Beck, Austen Brown, David Brown, Steven Seaverson and Jonathan Fling and as honorary pallbearers, Hardy and Bono Fire Departments and Jonathan Williams.
