A thriller is coming to Downtown Playhouse in Pocahontas, which will stage “Wait Until Dark” in November. The popular and tense drama opens November 2 and runs through November 30.

“Wait Until Dark” centers around Susy Hendrix, a blind Greenwich Village housewife who becomes the target of three con-men.  The criminals are searching for a doll with a hidden treasure, which has come to be in the possession of Susy’s family.

The con-men assume they will soon claim the doll, but they underestimate Susy’s abilities.

Tickets are $19.60, including tax, and the cost of admission also covers beverage and dessert.  There is a wide array of hot and cold beverages, and desserts include Vanilla Caramel Creme Pie, Reese’s Creme Pie, Pumpkin Roll Cake and Sugar-Free Jello Pudding Parfait.
