At 3:30 pm on Sunday the Lawrence County 911 received a call reporting a fire inside a residence located on Lawrence 214 (Clear Springs Road) . Firefighters arrived at 3:37 pm and found one room of the structure involved in flames. Black Rock Fire Department along with Ravenden Fire were requested to the scene with tankers for additional water support. Craighead Electric was requested to the scene to disconnect utilities. ProMed Ambulance was also placed on standby at the scene as a precautionary measure.

At 3:47 Fire Chief Jim Jones reported the “fire was knocked down” and firefighters were in the process of making sure there were no hidden hot spots. Additional support was ask to slow their response but continue to the scene.

No injuries were reported in the incident, at least one room in the structure sustained damage in the incident. Imboden was still in scene at the time of this article.
