At 8:23 am the Lawrence County Dispatch recurved a 911 call reporting a camper on fire at the Ray Maple residence located at 2 Lawrence 109.
Ravenden Fire responded and requested mutual aide from the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department, Imboden responded with firefighters and it’s Engine 6.
The 911 caller stated the camper was a total loss but the fire was quickly spreading towards a shop building. Ravenden and Imboden arrived on scene and were able to extinguish the fire before it caused further damage.
Both Imboden and Ravenden were back in service shortly after 9am. No injuries were reported, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
