Anthony Downing Waddell, 56 of Imboden, passed from this life to be with our heavenly father on Friday, November 30, 2018 in a car accident.
Born May 15, 1962 in Manila; son of Vance and Iva Dell Downing Waddell. He was united in marriage to Margaret House on June 1, 1991. He was a Master Plumber having plumbed many houses for local people and friends. He was mighty proud to have plumbed Merle Haggard’s cabin on the White River. He was working for Future Fuel Chemical for 27 years and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a hard worker and loved his family and friends; and spending time with them. His hobbies included gardening, working in the yard and house, and spending time with his family, work family and watching drag racing and Nascar.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Iva Dell Waddell; a sister, Lilla Waddell; and one brother, L. Van Waddell.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Margaret of the home; one son, Logan of Imboden; his father, Vance Waddell of Imboden; two sisters, Adella (Johnny) Bookout of Smithville and Angela Perrin of Imboden; a very special family friend, Kevin Ray of Imboden; and several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 12 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Daniel Avery officiating. Pallbearers are Johnny Bookout, Marty and Andy Lamb, Alan Richey, Shawn Gott and Dwayne Stott. Honorary Pallbearers are his entire work family. Interment will follow in the Hope Cemetery in Imboden.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 A.M. till 12 P.M.
