Joseph Crow, 26, was wanted on suspicion of aggravated assault on a police officer, domestic battery, fleeing, and hit and run.Hoxie Police said one of the Hoxie officers was flagged down around 1:20 a.m. Friday regarding a domestic dispute with Crow. As the officer attempted to contact him, Crow jumped in his truck, put it in reverse, and tried to run over the officer. A short chase ended with Crow side swiping a train stopped on the railroad tracks. After his truck came to a stop in a ditch, Crow got out and ran away.

Officers had been searching for him ever since

On Monday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a call from a resident stating she had seen Crow in a Gold or Tan Chevrolet Z71 truck in Hoxie. Officers immediately responded and made contact with the vehicle. Crow was arrested along with another occupant in the vehicle.

Arkansas Probation and Parole along with a Special Response Team from Arkansas Probation and Parole were also notified and assisted Hoxie with the arrest.

Crow was taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he will face several Felony charges.
