Around 10:30 am on Tuesday Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting shots fired in the area of the 900 block of west third street in Imboden.  Although school was not in session there were students at the Bill Mccurley Gymnasium the school was immediately placed on lock down by the administration.

Two deputies that were in the area responded along with the Arkansas State Police. A witness was located and a description of the truck believed to be a white dodge pick up and a possible license plate were reported to the deputies.

The school remained on lock down for approximately an hour until the all safe sign was given. Law enforcement searched the immediate area but it’s believed the vehicle left the area and possibly headed to Randolph County.
