Sloan-Hendrix Superintendent Clifford Rorex released the following message today concerning threats from two students while they were on Sloan-Hendrix campus.

This week two students made comments about doing some harm on campus. One also threatened to harm herself. The school resource officer was contacted, and both students were promptly removed from campus. No weapons were brought to campus, and no assaults were committed. The students and staff of the school were never in any direct danger.
The Sloan-Hendrix School District takes the safety of its staff and students seriously and is committed to doing whatever is necessary to safeguard them.
