The Black Rock United Methodist Church has planned a Christmas Gala for Friday Evening, December 15th. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise funds for the church capital Improvement Fund. The Pastor, Bro Dennis Calaway, hopes this will become an annual tradition for the Black Rock community.
The doors will open at 6 pm that evening giving everyone as opportunity to enjoy Christmas music as they survey the various items available in the silent auction. A delicious dinner menu of slow roasted tender Black Angus Roast Beef smothered with Drunken Creamy Mushroom Gravy will begin at approximately six-thirty. It will include Crispy Garlic Butter Parmesan Smashed Potatoes and Arkansas Green Beans. Mouth watering Hot Rolls, Butter, and Sour Cream will complete the dinner menu.
Desert will be Homemade Brownies snowcapped by Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream topped by a cherry.
The Gala dinner, entertainment and silent auction will all take place in the historic Methodist Church which is located at Fourth & Elm Streets in Black Rock, Arkansas.
