At 6:35 pm on Tuesday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle accident with a victim trapped in the vehicle. Imboden Volunteer Fire Department along with Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police and two medical ambulances responded to the scene.
 
Imboden arrived on scene and requested assistance from Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department and Walnut Ridge Fire Department to attempt to remove the victim from the accident. A medical helicopter from Survival Flight was requested, Lawrence County Deputies and Arkansas State Police assisted with traffic control.
 
A landing zone was being  set up at the Imboden Fire Department at the time medics requested the coroner to scene. At 7:28 m the deceased victim was extricated from the vehicle.
 
The name of the individual has not been released pending conclusion of the Arkansas State Police’s investigation.
 
Dail’s Wrecker Service was requested to the scene to remove the vehicle.
