BLACK ROCK CUB SCOUTS RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS

The Black Rock Cub Scout Pack is currently recruiting new members to join us for the fall. The pack will be having a special recruitment Pizza Party on Tuesday evening, October 17th at 6:30 pm at the Black Rock Methodist Church. All boys in the first through fourth grade are eligible to join, regardless of the school they attend. Home schooled boys are also welcomed and encouraged to take advantage of the scouting program that builds character, leadership and citizenship. We hope all interested boys and a parent/grandparent/guardian will attend this meeting.

Although the Black Rock pack is relatively new, the boys that started the pack in January were able to earn their rank badges and advance to the next level for the new school year. In additional to a pancake fund raiser, the scouts were able to go on a trip to Blanchard Springs Caverns outside of Mountain View, Arkansas. They have lots of activities planned so now is the time to become involved.

The Black Rock pack meets the first and third Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm during the school year and during the summer. We general have a light dinner at every meeting so that parents don’t have to worry about getting their scouts fed before the meeting.
Anyone who has any questions about the pack or the scouting program, may call or text the Cubmaster Zach Callahan at 870-421-2905 or the pastor, Bro. Dennis Calaway at 870-761-5300.
