Sloan-Hendrix Schools will be hosting an open house and orientation on Thursday, August 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. Elementary, Middle, and High School teachers will be available during the designated times in their respective buildings to meet with students and parents.
Also on August 10, high school parents/students will have the opportunity to attend the orientation session at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. All 8th and 9th grade students and new students in grades 10-12 are encouraged to attend.
New student registration will also take place on Thursday, August 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. for new
students who have not previously registered. Sloan-Hendrix administrators and counselors will be available to answer questions regarding student placement in the elementary and middle schools, along with high school course offerings, credits toward graduation, and bus routes.
Kindergarten registration will be conducted at this time as well, and it is requested that parents of students being registered for kindergarten bring their child’s birth certificate, social security card, and immunization records.
If you need to register a new student and are unable to attend on August 10, please call the appropriate school office to schedule an appointment for an alternate date and time.
The first day of school is scheduled for Monday, August 14.
