Harding University’s  2017 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony Took place on February 3rd.  The Bison Boosters induct new members into the Hall of Fame every five years.  The 2017 class is the 11th in the hall’s history and has 84 members.

One of those new members is Sloan-Hendrix alumni Bridget Benson Carter.  Mrs. Carter played basketball for Harding from 1993-97. Her accomplishments include…
Third in career scoring at Harding (1,803 points)
Two-time all-conference and all-region … played two seasons when Harding was not in a conference
Harding’s career leader in steals (201), third in blocks (103), fourth in rebounds (878) and fifth in assists (377)

Mrs. Carter and family attended the Athletic Hall of fame induction dinner last night where she was recognized for her athletic accomplishments.
