Davidsonville Historic State Park invites you to join us for any and all of the upcoming park programs. Most programs are free and advanced registration for these events is required. Please call, email, or visit the park to sign up.
Branding Iron Workshop: Saturday, January 14th
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $5.00 per person.
Make your mark at Davidsonville Historic State Park and learn how livestock, property, and possessions were marked during Davidsonville’s time. Participants will learn about different types of symbols, branding techniques, and have the chance to brand items. Hot chocolate and hot cider will be served around the branding fire. Bundle up and bring items you wished to be branded to the program (leather and wood patches will be provided by the park for branding). Call the park to sign up.
