At 3:21 pm on Sunday the Rvenden Volunteer Fire Department along with the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department were both paged to the scene of an accident on Hwy 63 near Lawrence 106 between Imboden and Ravenden.

Lawrence County Dispatch Center received several 911 calls reporting at least 2 vehicles, one being a truck and trailer hauling round bales of hay. Along with the two fire departments, AET Ambulance, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and Arkansas State Police were also dispatched to the scene.

Highway 63 was closed for a considerable amount of time, Dail”s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was requested to the scene to remove the vehicles and the round bales of hay. Firefighters assisted with directing traffic as the roadway was cleared. Ravenden was on scene until 5:42 pm. Hwy 63 was completely reopened at that time, no injuries were reported in the incident.
