On December 10, 2016 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested Billie Brady , age 38 and Michael Lentjes, age 38 on multiple drug charges. The arrest comes after the two were stopped by a deputy for an equipment violation. During the stop the deputy noticed both subjects acting nervous and a computer check showed both to be on probation/parole for drug charges. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center. During the booking process it was discovered that Brady had additional drugs, methamphetamine and pills, hidden on her person.
Both are in the Lawrence County Jail awaiting a bond hearing. The charges for both are as follows: Michael Lentjes-Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Billie Brady-Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Introducing Contraband into a Secure Facility.
