Judy Lou English Rone, 67, of Ravenden, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Judy was born on October 31, 1948, in Thayer, Missouri, to Hasting Looney and Flora Elizabeth Stevens English.
On September 7, 1968, Judy married the love of her life, Joseph William Rone, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. They were married for forty-eight years. Judy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She was a member of the Ravenden Church of Christ.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeremy Rone.
Judy is survived by her husband, Joseph William Rone, of the home; sons, Joey Rone, and Jason Rone, both of Ravenden; daughter, Jonna (Dean) Lawrence, of Ravenden; sisters, Emma Sue (Jerry) Collins, of Pocahontas, and Betty Jean Kellett, of Peru, Indiana; grandchildren, Jordin Rone, of Jonesboro, Makenzie Rone, Hasting Rone, Jaden Macie Rone, Joey Allen Rone, Layla Lawrence, Billy Joe Lawrence, Tray Lawrence, Todd Lawrence, and Ava Lawrence, all of Ravenden; thirteen nieces and nephews; many foster children; others that called her Grandma.
Visitation will be held at the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm.
A Graveside Funeral Service will begin at 2:30 pm, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the Wyatt Cemetery, near Ravenden; Gevan Murphy, officiating.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jody Sanders, Mike Sundahl, Brandon Rone, Dustin Foley, Wendall Kellett, and Landon Wells.
Honorary pallbearers are Hasting Rone, Ronald Dulgar, Jerry Tibbs, and Gary Collins.
All final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas.
