At 6:07 pm on Sunday the Lawrence County 911 Center received a call reporting a one vehicle rollover accident with one person trapped in the vehicle. Ravenden Fire Department, Imboden Volunteer Fire Department and Medic One Ambulance were all dispatched to the scene located in the 5800 block of Hwy 63 between Imboden and Ravenden.

Ravenden firefighters arrived on scene and reported one subject was still trapped in the vehicle but was reported to be alert and talking to responders. The individuals stated the vehicle hydroplaned and overturned trapping one person. Medic One Ambulance along with units from Imboden and Ravenden with extrication tools were on scene at 6:20 pm.

A medical helicopter was launched from Survival Flight to respond to the area. Firefighters from both Imboden and Ravenden assisted with traffic. At 6:28 pm Imboden reported the patient had been extricated from the vehicle and was in the ambulance receiving care. Once medics assessed the patient the inbound helicopter was cancelled. The patient was transported by Medic One to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Names of the injured have not been released at this time, the accident is still under investigation.
