Shortly before 1pm on Sunday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a two vehicle accident involving a semi truck and a Chevrolet truck between Imboden and Ravenden on Hwy 63.

Both the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department and the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched along with an ambulance from AET Ambulance of Imboden.

Witnesses on the scene reported all the occupants were out of the vehicles with only one minor injury reported. Units from Imboden and Ravenden responded and assisted with heavy afternoon traffic.

Deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded and investigated the accident. Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden responded to remove the pickup truck, the semi was believed to be drivable after the accident.

Traffic was reduced to one lane as wreckage was removed from the scene.
