One Dead, One Severely Injured In Accident At Clover Bend

At 5:22 pm on Thursday Clover Bend and Hoxie Fire Departments along with two ambulances were dispatched to an accident on Lawrence 511 outside Clover Bend. Early reports stated two people were ejected from the vehicle in the accident. The accident was described as a one vehicle rollover.

Units responding arrived and advised one person was dead and a second was in critical condition, a medical helicopter was requested by the Clover Bend Fire Department. Ambulances arrived on scene at 5:36 pm.

Lawrence County Deputies arrived on scene to begin the accident investigation, Arkansas State Police was requested to assist at 5:40 pm.

The name of the victim has not been released by the Arkansas State Police at this time, no word on the condition or the identity of the second person involved in the accident. Units are still on scene conducting the investigation at this time.
