Bond was set Monday for Anthony Tyner of Greene County at $25,000 cash after Tyner was arrested following a chase through Lawrence County from Imboden to the 63/67 intersection near Hoxie.
Tyner is accused of stealing a Ford Ranger pick up from the Hayes parking lot in Walnut Ridge, Tyner abandoned the vehicle between Imboden and Ravenden and then stole a second vehicle from a residence in Imboden. The stolen Ford Ranger was discovered on Monday morning .
Officers spotted the vehicle described as a Lincoln MKX headed south on Hwy 63, the vehicle was finally stopped by officers at the Hwy 63 and Hwy 67 overpass. No injuries were reported in the chase. Arkansas State Police, Walnut Ridge Police, Arkansas Game and Fish, Hoxie Police and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office were all involved in the incident.
Tyner is facing (2) Felony Theft of a motor vehicle, Felony Fleeing and Driving Under The Influence. He is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail.
