imageAshlynn Cheyenne Tubbs, born June 19, 2002 in Jonesboro to Jennifer Nunally Tubbs and Kenneth Brian Tubbs, passed away from this life March 16, 2016 at the age of 13 years, 8 months and 26 days.

She is survived by her mother and father, Jennifer and Kenneth Tubbs of Powhatan; her brother, Hunter Nunally of the home; maternal grandparents, Nelson and Teresa Nunally of Imboden; maternal grandparents, Ruth and Larry Gibbens of Ravenden; maternal great grandfather, Bud Nunally of Black Rock; paternal grandmother, Dovie Furgeison of Oil City, Louisiana and many other relatives and friends.

She was proceeded in death by paternal grandmother, Pamela Tubbs, paternal grandfather, Cowboy Furgeison, maternal great grandfather, Thomas Bagwell, maternal great grandmother, Patty Nunally.

She was a lifelong resident of Powhatan, Ashlynn had attended both Black Rock and Sloan Hendrix High School and recently transferred to Walnut Ridge to become a Junior Cheerleader for the Bobcats. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Imboden where she loved helping her mother with children’s church and other youth activities. She was also a dishwasher at Renea’s Café and enjoyed babysitting for friends and family. Ashlynn was a member of the ATF Martial Arts of Walnut Ridge, the Imboden Girl Scouts Troop 3429 and the Odyssey of the Mind Team. Ashlynn also had aspirations of becoming an RN in the US Air Force. More than anything Ashlynn loved to sing, she had the voice of an Angel, she was very active in all Choir activities. Ashlynn was a beautiful person, with a beautiful soul, who touched many lives in her 13 years short years. She was a blessing to so many and such an upbeat, positive young woman who loved her family and friends with her whole heart.

A memorial service will be Saturday March 26, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Old Black Rock Gym with Bro. Frank Casillas officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Forest Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be, Joe Nunally, Jeffery Settles, Shawn Green, Logan Orrick, Garrett Thompson and Calvin Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Imboden Girl Scouts Troop 3429.
