At 10:14 pm the Lawrence County Dispatch was notified by Greene County of a pursuit coming into Lawrence County on Hwy 412, Paragould Police and Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies were in pursuit of a black Chevrolet truck described as a mid 1990’s with no taillights and Tennessee drive out tags.

At 10:17 pm a Lawrence County spotted the vehicle on 412 headed towards Walnut Ridge at a high rate of speed. City units from Walnut Ridge and Hoxie along with Greene County units all converged on the area. Troopers from the Arkansas State Police staged near Walmart on Hwy 412 to set up spike strips to disable the vehicle.

Before the vehicle could reach the spike strips, deputies reported the vehicle had crashed at 10:21 pm in front of the O’Reilly Auto Parts on Main Street in Walnut Ridge. Medical units responded to the scene after being requested by officers. No word yet on the charges from Greene County, the subjects will face additional charges in Lawrence County. The name or names of the vehicle occupants has not been released at this time. No officers were injured in the pursuit.
