WBC Homecoming/Parents Day is Nov. 14

Williams Baptist College is set to host its annual Homecoming/Parents Day on Saturday, November 14, when alumni and parents will journey to the campus to participate in a full day of activities.

The first event of the day is a Williams Singers reunion, taking place at 9:00 am in the Eagle Coffeehouse and Grill. The group will then rehearse for their afternoon performance. Rehearsal is set for 11:00 a.m., in Room 101 of the Maddox Center.

The Carter Field House will open at 11:00 a.m. for games, inflatables and fun with friends. An alumni basketball game is also scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

The Mabee-Gwinup Cafeteria will be open for lunch from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A Golden Eagles luncheon, for alumni from 1966 and earlier, will be at noon in the Moody Dining Room.

An alumni softball game will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the softball field.

Performances by the Cast and former and current Williams Singers will begin at 2:00 p.m. in WBC’s Manley Chapel.

Tip off for the Eagles basketball game against John Brown University is slated for 4:00 p.m., and homecoming coronation will occur at approximately 5:00 p.m.

The day’s festivities will conclude with the WBC theater program’s fall drama, The Man Who Came to Dinner, which begins at 7:00 p.m., in the Old Chapel.
