Thomas Wayne Ashcraft, latest address in Cave City was arrested late Tuesday after a warrant was issued when Ashcraft was a no-show for a court appearance in Lawrence County.
Lawrence County Criminal Investigators received a tip from a concerned citizen stating that Ashcraft was working and living in the Cave City area. Investigators contacted Sharp County with the information and asked if they would look into it, Ashcraft was found in Cave City and arrested without incident before being transferred to Lawrence County where he currently resides in the Lawrence County Jail.
Ashcraft is a registered sex offender who has convictions ranging from theft of property, several failure to register as a sex offender and multiple probation violations.
