Rug Crafting Workshop
January 24 9 am – 3 pm
Registration Fee: $20
Ever wonder what our ancestors did with old clothing before the Salvation Army existed? Why, they recycled the fabric into many things! This workshop teaches the art of making “toothbrush” rugs, beautiful floor mats woven using a tool made from an old toothbrush. These rugs look similar to braided or crocheted rugs and are very simple to make. All tools and materials are provided.
