Icy conditions probably contributed to two accidents early Sunday on Hwy 63 north of Imboden. At 3:40 am the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was paged along with AET Ambulance of Imboden to a one vehicle rollover accident north of town at the Lawrence 106 and Hwy 63 intersection.

Firefighters arrived to find the driver trapped in the overturned vehicle, within minutes the injured was removed from the vehicle and transported by AET Ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

The accident was investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the name of the injured or extent of injuries was not released. Dail’s Wrecker Service was called to removed the vehicle, the highway was closed for a short time.

At 4:59 am the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was again paged to the 5700 block of Hwy 63 north of Imboden for a one vehicle rollover accident, firefighters responded to find the driver uninjured but the vehicle was described as being on it’s top in the ditch. Arkansas State Police was dispatched to investigate this accident. Winebaugh Towing was called to remove the vehicle, firefighters assisted with traffic flow until the incident could be cleared up.
