Two political positions are set for runoffs on Tuesday, one in Walnut Ridge and one in Hoxie. The Office of Mayor will be decided in a runoff between incumbent Mayor Lanny Tinker and challenger Dennis Coggins. Hoxie voters can cast their ballots at the Hoxie Service Center.
In Walnut Ridge, Roger Duckworth and Allen Smith are set for a runoff, voters from Walnut Ridge can cast their votes at the Lawrence County Meeting Room.
Residents interested in early voting can do so at the office of Tina Stowers, Lawrence County Clerk located in the Lawrence County Court House located on Main Street through Monday.
Only registered voters from their municipalities are eligible to vote in the runoff elections.
