On June 26, 2014 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Clarence Bowker, age 47, and Anna Doyle , age 42, both of Black Rock for possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest comes from deputies receiving information of illegal drug activity at a residence at Black Rock. Deputies were familiar with both subjects from past drug arrests.

A check showed that both subjects were still under conditions of SIS. Deputies went to the residence and spoke with both subjects about the information they had received.

A search was conducted of the residence. Inside the residence deputies found methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.

At the jail both subjects were given a drug test. Both subjects failed for methamphetamine.
