At 3:03 pm on Friday the Lawrence County Dispatch was notified of a two vehicle accident on Hwy 63 in front of S&H Quick Shop with injuries.

The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and AET Ambulance were all paged to the scene.

At 3:07 pm a medical unit arrived on scene, Imboden requested their rescue truck with extrication equipment as well as the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department to bring extrication equipment, Ravenden responded to the scene. Firefighters advised of two injured in the accident. A second ambulance was requested by units on scene. Once the vehicle was opened by firefighters, the injured were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.

Lawrence County Deputies and Arkansas State Police investigated the accident, the names of the injured and extent of injuries has not been released at this time. Hwy 63 was closed for a period of time while rescue workers and medical units could treat the patients. Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was requested to bring two wreckers to the scene. At 3:53 pm the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department checked clear of the scene and was back in service.
