Pocahontas- Martin Edward “Marty†Cagle, 59 passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Five Rivers Medical Center.
Marty was born December 23, 1954 to Darrell and Marie Cagle Murphy in Pocahontas, AR.
Survived by his loving wife Pat Blevins Cagle of the home, son Jonathan Cagle, mother Marie Cagle Murphy brother James (Lisa) Calgle.
Preceded in death by his father Darrell Cagle.
Marty was a firefighter for the City of Pocahontas and Office of Emergency Management Coordinator for Randolph County and he worked part-time as a deputy for Randolph County Sheriff Department. For several years he served on Randolph County Fair Board as President and Fair manager and also served on the Arkansas State Fair Board. Marty was also the Adjunct instructor at BRTC for EMS and Fire Science. He also served as a Refree and umpire for community league sports.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with James H. Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Members of the Pocahontas Fire Department will serve as Pallbearers.
