On March 07, 2014 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jaylane Joslin, age 23, of Alicia on charges of criminal mischief and terroristic threatening.
The arrest comes after an incident at a residence on County Road 739. Joslin got into an altercation with some family members and their friends. Joslin then according to witnesses slashed three tires on a vehicle that the people were in trying to leave. Joslin also made threating advances towards the occupants of the vehicle with the knife in hand. The vehicle fled from Joslin and called 911.
Deputies responded to where the vehicle was and started an investigation. Statements were taken from witnesses and photos were taken of the damage. The information was used to obtain a warrant for Joslin.
Joslin was arrested without incident and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
