At 4:55 pm on Thursday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle accident on Lawrence 201 about a mile out of Imboden. Imboden Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and an ambulance was notified.
Units were on scene within minutes and reported a vehicle had struck a tree on Lawrence 201, the driver was seriously injured. According to Asst. Chief Jim Jones, CPR was started on scene, the driver was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by ambulance. The identity of the driver has not been released pending accident investigation and notification of family.
The accident was being investigated by both the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police.
