Imboden Man Arrested By Lawrence County After Making Threats At Dollar General

Sheriff Jody Dotson today released information today on an arrest that took place on February 9th, John Michael Kincade was arrested and charged with Assault-1st Degree. Kincade was allegedly involved in an altercation at the Imboden Dollar General Store on February 7th. Witnesses stated that Kincade was eating items not paid for while in the store, when approached by management, Kincade allegedly was told he was to leave the store and was banned from the premises.

Kincade then began to use inappropriate language, verbal threats and made movements towards the workers in an aggressive manner. Witnesses went on to say that Kincade went as far as to threaten to burn the store. Lawrence County Deputies arrived, took the initial report and began to look for Kincade. Kincade was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a Bond Hearing.

On Tuesday, Judge Marshall held the Bond Hearing for John M. Kincade, Bond was set at $2,000.00, a No Contact order was issued in the case and a court hearing of March 21st was issued.
