Black Rock Fire And Ambulance Respond To Gun Shot Victim During Snow Storm

At 2:30 pm on Sunday Feb. 2nd the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting and accidental shooting at 117 Lawrence 233 in the Black Rock Fire District.

Details are still coming in, but initial reports are that a female accidentally discharged a 410 shotgun containing #6 shot striking her in the foot. It was also reported that the injury was non-life threatening. At 2:52 the ambulance and Black Rock Fire were on scene. Shortly after 3 pm, the ambulance reported that they would not be transporting, victim decided to go to NEA Baptist by private vehicle. AET and Black Rock Fire were both back in service at 3:10 pm.
