On Tuesday, January 28th the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Walnut Ridge Police, Black Rock Police and Hoxie Police raided a suspected drug house located at 412 West Hill Street in Walnut Ridge. The raid stemmed from an investigation spanning several weeks. Officers arrested 60 year old Stephen Williams and 23 year old Ryun Blansett at the residence.

79.3 grams of Meth/Ice was discovered in the home with a street value of nearly $8,000.00, paraphernalia, weapons and $980.00 in cash were also in the residence. Williams and Blansett were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) with intent to deliver, Possession of Drug paraphernalia and Simultaneous  Possession of Drugs and Firearms.

Both Blansett and Williams are in the Lawrence County Jail awaiting a Bond Hearing. Sheriff Dotson stated he appreciated the cooperation and assistance of the agencies involved in the investigation and arrest.

Williams bond set at 15000 cash with a court date of March 13, Blansett 7500 cash with a court date of March 13th.
